The system is used to detect the slag melting status inside the BOF, generate the tendency curve of slag layer thickness, stabilize steelmaking process and improve steelmaking efficiency. The pre-alarm of slopping or drying is given dynamically. The SSSADDS has become an important tool for standardized operation of production and technological process with its benefits of molten steel quality improvement, molten iron loss reduction, furnace lining service life improvement, labor intensity reduction, and operation level improvement.
