Online Monitoring of Activity Concentration in Low-level Liquid

As one of the core parts of the radiation monitoring system of the nuclear power plant, this system guarantees the safe operation of the nuclear power plant and the safety of the staff, the public and the environment away from radiation. It can real-timely monitor the content of radioactive substances of the working environment and in the discharged liquid so as to automatically determine the radiation level and give an alarm quickly.

Description

Key technology:

The sensor, the core component of the detector, is self-developed. It uses LaBr3:Ce with 138La γ source, which is more suitable for high-energy γ detection, to replace NaI (Tl) scintillator.

Detection range：3.7*103~5*109Bq/m3

Error：≤±10%

Technological advantages:

Realize complete independence and localization.

It can revamp the old equipment and realize online detection.

High detection accuracy:

Compared with NaI (Tl) scintillator, LaBr3:Ce scintillator has lower background, higher detection efficiency and higher sensitivity for γ-ray. The detection results are more accurate.
