Description

Key technology:

LaBr3:Ce is adopted to replace NaI scintillator of MGPI to break the international monopoly, realizing localization.

In the energy range of 0.2-2.2 and 2.2-4.5Mev, the background counting rate of LaBr3: Ce  with γ source is only 5% and 0.7% of that of NaI (Tl) with α source. 

Compared with NaI (Tl) scintillator with α source, LaBr3: Ce scintillator with γ source has the advantages of low background, high detection efficiency and resolution for 16N.
