The Third RAMON Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Summit Forum of China's Iron and Steel Industry Achieve a Great Success.

        At 1:00 p.m. on December 28, 2019, the third RAMON Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Summit Forum was successfully held in the R&D building of RAMON. Taking the theme of "One key to start a new era; everything connects to create a bright future", the forum aims to promote the application of intelligent manufacturing technology and improve the level of intelligentization, digitization and greening level of the iron and steel industry.

      The guests attending this forum come from the whole country steel industry, including Baosteel, Meigang, Jiugang, Sinosteel, Lianyuan Steel, Henggang, Shanxi Zhongyang and Yuxi Xinxing steel plant, etc.

      At the forum, the guests discussed the focus and ways of "smart factory" of iron and steel industry under the new situation, promoted the application of technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, 5G and artificial intelligence in the iron and steel industry, as well as the digital transformation of the iron and steel industry. The forum has made many wonderful and fruitful reports on the research and discussion of the smart factory in the steel industry, the practice and application of 5G technology in the steel industry, the application and practice of emerging technology in the steel production, and the application of the unmanned platform for ladle, the automatic steel tapping, intelligent and automatic tail cutting, and intelligent online width and taper adjusting technology in the steel plant by adopting a variety of activities, including exhibition, live broadcast of picture and text, special lecture, thematic dialogue, etc.

      The digital multimedia exhibition hall exhibits different parts including RAMON intelligent steel-making visualization center, the mechanical arm show and the CAVE multimedia, which perfectly perform an intelligent digital factory, making people understand RAMON development concept and direction of steel intelligence in the last 20 years.
